It often seems like every day we can turn around and there’s a hot new beauty product on the market. The beauty industry is never dull, or at a standstill, with new trends and products emerging constantly. We’re all about trying different products, treatments and techniques to adapt into your skin care as needed…but what about the basics? Sometimes with all the newness around us, it’s easy to lose sight of the beauty products you need to use every day. So what products should you be using daily? Well…we’re sharing them now!
We’re willing to be you often feel like your lips are dry at some point throughout the day, on a daily basis. This is exactly why we’re all about making sure that you’re using a lip moisturizing product every day. Our lips are just like the rest of our skin, they need moisture in order to look great (and feel great!). If you’re not already, start getting into the habit of carrying a lip moisturizing product with you every day. Chances are you’ll start to notice your lips feeling much more hydrated!
Aside from the basic skin care products (cleansers, toners and moisturizers-which you should automatically be using daily!), serums are a beauty product you should really be using every day. Serums have come a long way, and really made their mark in the beauty industry. We can’t find a skin care expert that doesn’t talk about the importance of a serum product in your daily routine. Serums are great because they’re ways to really treat your skin to help with any skin care concerns you have in a much more focused manner.
Of course, we can’t mention a daily beauty product must without talking about mascara! Mascara is a typical go-to for most women in their beauty routine. Even those days you want to keep your makeup routine simple and natural, applying a light coat of mascara can be just enough to open your eyes up a bit.
We had to mention SPF, especially since summer is just around the corner. If you’re not applying SPF to your skin daily, now is the time to get into the habit of doing so. Our skin is so significantly affected by the sun, if you want to keep your skin healthy, glowing and youthful-you’ll be using SPF every day. It’s suggested to look for an SPF product that’s at least SPF 30 to make sure your skin is well protected, but be sure it’s formulated to protect your skin against UVA and UVB rays.
Gone are the days that eye creams are just for those that are 40+ in age. Truthfully, experts have been stressing that using an eye cream as early as possible is going to be much more beneficial. Since the skin around our eyes is much thinner and vulnerable, it has different needs. Using an eye cream that’s been formulated to work with the skin in that area of your skin is incredibly beneficial to helping maintain the appearance and health of the skin in that area.
