Whether you realize it or not, inflammation is often the culprit of skin issues that prevent you from achieving glowing, smooth skin. Combining ½-1” size of ginger (chopped/grated for best results), 1 cup of spinach, 1 lemon, 1 tsp of flax seeds and 2-3 cups of water for the base is known to be a great smoothie recipe to help reduce inflammation in the body.
Orange for Smooth Skin
Carrots have long been known to provide a healthy source of skin glowing benefits, combining that with other ingredients in a smoothie aids in protecting your skin and helping it to heal from the inside giving you smooth results on the outside. For this smoothie recipe, you’re going to combine 2 large carrots, 1 ripe banana, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, 1-2 cups of soy milk as the base.
